Boyd Wins 2006 Iron Wolverine Competition

Cory Boyd ran past the field in this years Iron Wolverine Contest. Boyd a sprinter on the track team used his blazing fast times and execellent strength scores to edge out several under- classman, such as Kenard Harris & Jesse Mitchell. Boyd is the first Senior to win the award in several years. Through his consistent work ethic in the weight room and hard work on the WHS Track Team, Boyd has molded himself into a potential Division 1 athlete in college. The coaching staff is looking forward to great things from Cory this season, as he prepares to have a "break through" senior season. Congrats to Cory and the rest of the team on their hard work this summer. Here is a list of the winning scores and new records set this summer.
